Over the course of our careers in Silicon Valley, we’ve witnessed fortunes rise and fall. Sometimes, we were on teams that took a unicorn all the way to IPO. Other times, we watched as a startup folded.

Yet through all of these highs and lows, one principle held true: the importance of a thoughtfully designed, well-aligned pricing strategy. And yet, pricing as a function often remains understaffed and overlooked.
